Willow is the quiet, supportive friend of Buffy,who is usually shy and timid, but every once in a while she gets burst of energy.  She is really smart and quite the human.  Her best friends are Buffy and Xander, and she is slowly develpoing a friendship with Cordelia.    She always has a supportive thing to say to everyone.  Her guitair boyfriend Oz is in a band, "Dingos Ate My Baby."

    Willow is played by 24-year-old Alyson Hanningan, who started her career with  commercials for companies like McDonald's, Six Flags, and Oreo Cookies. At the age of 11, she moved to LA to fulfil many young girls dream, to become a star. Her big break came when she received a starring role in "My Stepmother is an Alien," with Dan Aykroyd and Kim Basinger. She has had guest starring roles in series such as, "Picket Fences," "Roseanne," and "Touched by an Angel." She had a recurring guest role on the show "Almost Home" with "Step By Step" star Jason Marsten and role on the series "Free Spirit." Now, she stars as the ever-lovable Willow Rosenberg on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
