Wow! I am
updating it!! Soooo sorry for making ya wait like this, but I do have a life to
live... and I'm lazy... I hope you enjoy it, cos it took me FOREVER to get it all! Most of
this slang is supplied by Raven's Realm of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, some from other
sites, and bits of my own!

The Fun New Slang
GATHERING- Brie and mellow song stylings
SHINDIG- dip, less mellow & perhaps a large amount of malt berverages
HOOTENANNY- A whole lotta hoot and just a little bit of nanny
ACATHLA- an ancient demon, fought by a virtuous knight and turned to stone when it died. Said to be able to suck the entire world into the hell.
THE ANNOINTED ONE- The Master's
greatest Warrior, the one who will lead the Slayer into Hell.
ASTRAL PROJECTION-The theory that while one sleeps one has another body -an astral body
-that can travel through time and space.
AURELUIS-The prophet who wrote the Pagamon Codex.
BEZOAR-A pre-pre-historic parasite that lays eggs. The offspring then inhabit the body of
the living and take over their motor functions.
BITCA-Xanders translation of B-I-T-C-H.
CARBON-DATED-Beyond passe.
CHATTER IN THE CAF-Lunchroom gossip.
CIRCLE OF KAYLESS-A mystical circle formed by a number of people, used to imprison demons.
DEMON-An evil creature who was banished from this Earth when Man came and has ever since
been trying to regain control.
DON'T WARN THE TADPOLES-Refers to
Willow's fear of amphibians/tadpoles. We get the gist that she may have a ecurring
nightmare about them. ("Don't warn the tadpoles!..I have frog fear")
DRAMA QUEEN-Someone who goes in for long, melodramatic explanations, like Giles (example:
spoken by Xander "Are all you Brits such drama queens?").
DU LAC CROSS-A cross created by Josephus du Lac holding the key to decipher to mystical
texts in the book he wrote.
ELSEWHERE TO BE-Another engagement far away (sarcasm).
EVITA-LIKE-Self-centered; arrogant; Madonna-like.
EXORCIST TWIST-Full turn of the head executed by teenage-boy-killing praying mantises and
Linda Blair.
EYGHON-demon, also known as the Sleepwalker, who can only exist in this reality by
possessing an unconscious host.
FEEDING-Drinking blood; a vampire's only means for survival.
FREE-Study Hall.
GENE AND ROGER-Unsolicited criticism (as in Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert).
HARVEST-A night once in a century when a Master Vampire can draw power from one of his
minions while it feeds.
HAVE A HAPPY-Being giddy over something, excited. ("At least someone's having a
happy")
HELEN KELLER-Unobservant person ("My eyes are hazel, Helen Keller").
HELLMOUTH-Opening to hell, a mystical force
attracting demons and vampires. Also known as Sunnydale.
HOST-The person off whom the vampire feeds.
ISSUES-Your own personal problems. Can be used with any noun. ("You're having
Parental
issues" Or, "Issues much?")
JOAN COLLINS TUDE-Snappy personality, rude, egotistical, and vain. ("Whatever is
causing the Joan
Collins Tude You should deal with it")
KEYSER SOZED (adj)
Duped into believing in a non-existent villain by the actual bad guy, a`la The Usual
Suspect ("Does anybody else feel like they've been Keyser Sozed?").
LOSE (ONE'S) WATER (v)
Freak out.
MASTER (n)
The most powerful of vampires, capable of destroying the earth.
MENTALLY CHALLENGED (adj)
Dumb, or not knowing/catching something that's very clear, common, basic or
very noticable. ("My god! I am so mentally challenged!")
MESH (v)
To go along with each other; intertwine; connect.
MINION (n
A follower of the Master Vampire.
MORBID MUCH (adj)
Something being very gross or disgusting.

THE NIGHT OF ST. VIGIOUS-The one night a year that vampires are more powerful than normal.
ONE-STARBUCKS TOWN-Boring town.
SALTY GOODNESS-Male treat for the eyes (synonym: a studly).
SCULLY-Explain paranormal activity with scientific rationale; homage to The X-Files' Dana
Scully ("I can't believe you are trying to Scully me.").
SHARE-Just what it sounds like, share, cought up
what you know. ("Giles, share")
SHEEP-A follower, someone always out to please to be popular. ("Harmony, you're a
sheep)
SIRE-The creator of a new Vampire.
SLACK-(as in to slack); kick back; relax.
SLAYER-A girl born once every generation with the strength and skill to hunt vampires,
find them where they gather and stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their
numbers.
ST. VIGIOUS-Vampire who led others on a mighty crusade against mankind.
STUDLY-Male treat for the eyes (synonym: salty goodness)>
SURROUND SOUND-In full color and stereo. A very vivid dream.
TAKE A PILL-Relax, calm down
TECHNOPAGAN-A computer oriented person who also believes in demons and other evils.
THE WACKY-Crazy things ("Love makes you do the wacky").
UBERSUCK-Major bummer
VAGUE THAT UP-Make a completely foggy explanation more unclear (sarcasm).
VAMPIRE or VAMP -Demonic creatures who live off the blood of humans; a vampire appears to
be a normal person until the feed is upon them -- only then do they reveal their true
demonic visage.
VESSEL-A minion, bearing a three-pointed symbol, which can give the Master Vampire
power by feeding.
VIBING-The act of connecting or bonding.
WATCHER-Person who finds the Slayer and leads her on her path; it is his destiny to guide
the
Slayer.
WIGGINS-The creeps (also the wig)
WIGGY-To freak out; act weird; be creepy.
WITCH-A demon who can cast spells to eliminate those who oppose her.
WRINKLIES-Cojones (usually vulgar also refers to Phallic shaped body part)
YESTER-Over, history ("forget about our fight, it's totally yester")
